Karen Yonovitz

KAREN YONOVITZ moved to Bozeman, MT with her husband in 2002 in search of “the last best place”. After a highly successful 25-year career as a classical flutist based in the Denver area, Karen now focuses her artistic energies on sewing and fabric. An avid quilter and quilting teacher, Karen freely admits to being a fabricholic. Her stash took a serious turn for the worse when she discovered the world of home decorating fabrics. Now she specializes in the creation of elegant patchwork home décor items using luxurious silks, velvets, tapestries, and chenilles. During the past 2 years she was employed as a design assistant and seamstress in the workshop for the Designers Emporium in Bozeman, creating high-end custom fabric home décor.
